• Plaquetas circulantes se adhieren a la pared del vaso en el lugar del trauma;
• La activación y la agregación plaquetaria, junto con varias series de reacciones enzimáticas que involucran a las proteínas de coagulación, producen fibrina que forma un tapón hemostático estable. 7
